Counter-notice

If your content was removed because of a copyright notice and you believe that was a mistake, or that you have the right to use it, you can send a counter-notice to our designated agent above. It must include:

  1. Your name, address, phone number and signature (a typed name is fine).
  2. The content that was removed and where it appeared before removal.
  3. This statement: “I swear, under penalty of perjury, that I have a good faith belief that the material was removed or disabled as a result of mistake or misidentification.”
  4. This statement: “I consent to the jurisdiction of the Federal District Court for the judicial district in which my address is located (or, if outside the United States, any judicial district in which punchi may be found), and I will accept service of process from the person who provided the original notice or their agent.”

We forward the counter-notice to the person who filed the original notice. If they don’t tell us within 10 to 14 business days that they’ve filed a court action, we may restore the content. A false counter-notice can make you liable for damages.
